West Point, Ga., June 7, 2012 – This past Friday through Sunday, more than 35 team members with Kia Motors Manufacturing Georgia, Inc. (KMMG) and their families participated in the LaGrange “Paint the Town” event which has led to the painting of more than 100 homes throughout the area during the past six years.
KMMG team members were responsible for painting the home of an elderly LaGrange couple and showed up in full force to get the job done during the past weekend, bringing a lot of their own tools and expertise to the project.
“Our team members eagerly take on the role of being good corporate citizens,” said K.S. Kim, KMMG’s Senior Vice President and COO. “Whether it is ‘Paint the Town’ or ‘Keeping Troup Beautiful,’ our team members are ready to be called on for the betterment of this community.”
Paint the Town is sponsored by DASH (Dependable, Affordable, Sustainable Housing) for LaGrange. This year 13 teams joined KMMG for the event.
