Kia Motors Manufacturing Georgia contributes $900,000 to the City of West Point

(West Point, GA.) July 14, 2014–On Friday, Kia Motors Manufacturing Georgia, Inc. (KMMG) provided $900,000 in funding to the City of West Point to be used at the city’s discretion.

 

“The City of West Point is a big part of the KMMG team and we are proud to be able call West Point our home,” said Randy Jackson, KMMG’s senior vice president of human resources and administration. “KMMG is committed to being a good corporate citizen and we know that our success would not be possible without the unwavering spirit of teamwork we have seen in this region.”

 

In addition to today’s $900,000 contribution, KMMG provided $850,000 to the city in 2013, all part of an overall $6.65 million commitment to West Point over the next several years.

 

“The City of West Point is again thankful for KMMG’s support of the effort to stimulate development within the city’s redevelopment areas,” said Mayor Drew Ferguson. “This contribution illustrates KMMG’s commitment to our citizens and to improving this community for everyone.”
