KIA MOTORS SUPPORTS THE KING CENTER’S EFFORTS TOWARD INCLUSION AND PEACE AT “SALUTE TO GREATNESS” AWARDS

As a Legacy Sponsor, Kia will Donate a 2020 Telluride SUV to the Organization
- 2020 marks the automotive brand’s eighth year in partnership with The King Center, and its first year as a major contributor to the Salute to Greatness Awards Gala
- The Georgia-manufactured Telluride will support The King Center’s transportation needs to further its mission of inspiration and empowerment
West Point, GA, January 17, 2020 —Kia Motors today announced that they will serve as a Legacy Sponsor at The King Center’s upcoming Salute to Greatness Awards Gala, taking place on Saturday, January 18 in Atlanta, GA.
As part of the brand’s partnership with The King Center, Kia Motors Manufacturing Georgia and Kia Motors America will donate a 2020 Telluride SUV to support the organization’s goal of building Beloved Communities all over the world. The award-winning vehicle will also be on display at The King Center through Tuesday, January 21.

Kia Motors has partnered with The King Center since 2013 as part of its corporate social responsibility efforts and looks forward to The King Center’s continued success in its work to promote peace. Proceeds from the gala will be used to support the King Center’s Nonviolence365® Education & Training, Camp NOW Leadership Academy, and Students with King #Nonviolence365® Youth Initiative, as well as other initiatives that expand on Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s teachings and legacy.
